Update: Participant Full Email Address Required For Certain Incentives
HSIP now requires the collection of participants’ email addresses for HSIP-issued virtual cards and checks, effective immediately, due to mandatory State of Michigan compliance requirements. For all other incentives, including HSIP-issued physical cards, email addresses are recommended for data collection but will not be required.
Please update your data collection and submission processes to ensure full email addresses are provided for both current and future affected requests.

Dash Virtual Payments: New Participant Transfer Options
HSIP has expanded Dash virtual payment features. Participants will still receive an email link and can now transfer funds from their Dash account via ACH (bank transfer), Venmo, PayPal, or check.
No changes are needed for study teams—request virtual payments as usual through the HSIP form. Please review IRB-approved materials to ensure any payment language remains accurate and protocol-compliant.
