Late or Corrected Timesheets

Departments Using Employee Self Service for Time Data Entry

  • CORRECTED TIMESHEET
If the change is greater than six months in the past, the timekeeper sends a hard copy timesheet to the University Payroll Office with the word “CORRECTED” on it.  The timesheet should include all time reported as it should be and it should be signed by the supervisor entered on Job Data, or the supervisor’s assigned delegate.
If the change is within six months, the employee enters a prior period adjustment on their self-service “Timesheet” page.  A comment should be entered for the prior period adjustment.

  • LATE TIMESHEET
If the change is greater than six months in the past, the timekeeper sends a copy of the hardcopy timesheet to the University Payroll Office.  The timesheet should be signed by the supervisor entered on Job Data, or the supervisor’s assigned delegate.
If the change is within six months, the employee enters a prior period adjustment on their self-service “Timesheet” page in HRMS M-Pathways, which will remove the employee from the Missing Time email for that pay period, after the employee’s next scheduled on-cycle payroll is processed .  If a payment needs to be processed sooner than the employee’s next on-cycle payroll, a hardcopy timesheet should be completed and forwarded to the Payroll Office to process in our off-cycle payroll.  The timesheet should be signed by the supervisor entered on Job Data, or the supervisor’s assigned delegate. Refer to Hard Copy Timesheets.
