Journal Entries

A journal entry (JE) is a method of recording transactions, or moving existing transactions, in the university's General Ledger.

This section of our website provides instructions on the life cycle of a journal entry, including determining the appropriateness and necessity of a journal, how to support the journal entry, obtaining proper approvals and how to process a JE that does not  involve a subsidiary ledger, such as Procurement, Payroll, Student, Accounts Receivable or Asset Management.
