Journal Entry Training Now Available Online
Financial Operations is pleased to announce the launch of online training for journal processing. Beginning in October 2008, GLE102 Working with Journal Entries (JEs) is now available on the MyLINC training platform.
This eLearning course provides a detailed overview of working with JEs in M-Pathways. Through guided simulations and other training materials, trainees gain hands-on experience in creating JEs online, uploading JEs using a template, posting JEs, printing cover sheets, and other useful JEprocedures.
Since December of 2007 over 700 users have been trained to input JEs into MPathways, which encompasses over 30 different schools/units. This comprehensive training program covers the major business processes involved in:
- inputting JEs
- running processes in MPathways
- internal controls
- University of Michigan accounting standards
