Welcome to the University of Michigan Financial Operations website! Whether you're a faculty and staff member, student, parent, alumni of the university, or simply visiting the website to learn more about the institution, it was designed to help you easily and quickly get the information you need.
Financial Operations is comprised of a number of departments that provide a wide range of financial services on behalf of—and for— the university community. These departments include Accounting Services, Financial Reports, Payroll, Student Financial Services, Student Loan Collections, and Teller Services. You can access information about these areas and the services they provide through the navigation on the left side of our website.
Our entire organization is focused on providing our customers with outstanding service. And a robust, user-friendly website is an integral way that we provide you with useful information about Financial Operations and the breadth of services available through our organization. Enroll today in the Fall 2013 U-M Payment Plan!
We are now accepting enrollment in the Fall Term 2013 U-M Payment Plan. This optional payment plan allows students/parents to spread the cost of tuition, residence hall, and other student account expenses over 5 monthly payments.
New Division Controller for Accounting Services announced
Effective January 1, 2013, Jarrod Van Kirk will be promoted to division controller for accounting services from his current position as financial senior manager.

Benefits Recharge Distribution Rate for FY 2013
After careful review, the university’s executive vice presidents have approved a benefits recharge distribution rate of 1.95 percent of payroll for Fiscal Year 2013.
Updated policy on Indirect Cost Recovery Excluded (ICRX) Expenditures released
The Cost Reimbursement Office has updated their document, The University of Michigan Policy on Indirect Cost Recovery Excluded (ICRX) Expenditures.
Your 2011 Form W–2 Is Available for Printing
Go to "Wolverine Access > Faculty & Staff > Employee Self-Service > View W-2 Forms" and access an electronic copy of your Form W-2 for printing. The electronic copy is identical to the format that you would have received in the mail at the end of January 2012.
Non-Sponsored Chartfield Request Forms Updated
The request forms for Project/Grant, Shortcode, and Endowments have been updated. The new forms can be found here:
