Departmental Emails

The HRMS M-Pathways data base distributes emails for 3 types of data - HR Appointment data, Gross Pay Register availability and missing Time Reports. The emails are normally sent to the Department Manager. The types of emails are:

  • Information about HR data is distributed to department managers based on the Department ID that is used as the appointing department for faculty and staff, e.g. email reminders about Forms I-9 that are about to expire.
  • Notification of availability of a Gross Pay Register for a specific payroll is sent to the department manager based funding Department ID.
  • Information about missing time reports for an individual is distributed to the Department Manager who is listed for the Department ID that is used as the appointing department for faculty and staff.

To send this information to someone other than the Department Manager, it is possible to individually override the mailing of these 3 types of emails for an entire department by completing a "Recipient Override" form. There can be only one override recipient for each type of email for each Department ID. Complete as many Sections of the form as needed.

Note: Hospital departments use the Hospital DataMart rather than the Payroll Data Warehouse for gross pay data.
